It's almost lunchtime and we haven't even said hello to the Seine yet. It is time to stroll down either of my favourite streets - rue St Paul or rue du Pont Louis Philippe and onto the Ile Saint Louis. This is where you wander along, half wondering where Johnny Depp's house is, half wondering when you’re going to have that lacey peach Vanessa Bruno dress, sit down by the water and generally have a breather, taking in the beauty all around you. J'adore chaque seconde a paris.

Annie is back..

Oui, we’ve met last winter. Et oui, I still adore monsieur Jean-Luc Godard. In fact, I love everything about Paris; the first sight from Trocadéro, brunch on Sacre Coeur, Simone Beauvoir’s book, velib bicycle and of course baguette. And believe me, to be a Parisian is to have a way with a baguette. I mean, who can get enough of baguette? “une tradi s’il vous plait”.

Inspiration : Jane Birkin

On an Airfrance flight from Paris to London, Jane Birkin pulled her date book out of her bag and dropped the paper she had inside. She complained to the passenger sitting next to her that the book should have pockets. That passenger was Jean - Louise Dumas, the chairman of Hermes. On 1984, Hermes made a bag designed and named for her, The Birkin Bag.

Her duet with Serge Gainsbourg, Je t'aime moi non plus ( we love that song) , is definitely in our fave list.

Her image was in the cover of Badly Drawn Boys's Album "Have you fed the fish?" where her daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg also sings. The singer/model/actress collaborated with many musician, some we think you probably put interest too, like Beck, Portishead, Brett Anderson of Suede and if you like Feist like us.. you can listen to their song here. We think her voice and her thick French accent resembles Feist's voice..

We surely think her fizz and charm is inspiring.

Event Horizon by Antony Gormley, is an art exhibition in which he made 31 life-size body forms cast in iron and fiberglass installed as close to the edge of the roof tops of many architectural buildings of New York.

By a glance, it looks like someone is about to jump from the top of the building..

We think it is one of the most rad idea of the year.

Out of all the places in the world, I can say, my much loved childhood place is Santa Monica pier. There is always something amusing at this fun fair that clings on my memory. Festive lunch at Bubba Gump, riding the colorful lamp-swathed Ferris wheel to catching in the breathtaking views of the Southern California beach line. And if you’re lucky you might catch the famous African snake-tamer standing on his tiny stage. You just never know what you will see when you visit the pier. Last time I went there I spotted a couple in full wedding attires, dancing. How romantic is that? A short sunset stroll there surely can be magical.
